Gwinnett County police have arrested the man they believe stabbed a woman to death Friday.

Kurt Sebastian Omana Torres, 26, of Duluth, was wanted on several charges, including malice murder, felony murder, aggravated assault and possession of a weapon during the commission of a felony. He was taken into custody without incident Monday, Gwinnett police confirmed.

He is accused of killing Ana Karen Ramos Hernandez, 24, who was found dead inside her apartment in the 1200 block of Hunters Club Lane around 6 p.m. Friday. The area is off Jimmy Carter Boulevard in unincorporated Norcross.

“This was a domestic-related incident between the deceased female and a known individual,” police said at the time.

No other details about the incident have been released by authorities.

Omana Torres will be booked into the Gwinnett jail later Monday, police said.
