A woman was killed in a multivehicle crash that blocked traffic on I-85 in DeKalb County for more than four hours Sunday morning, officials said.

The four-vehicle wreck was reported at around 5 a.m. in the northbound lanes at the North Druid Hills Road exit, according to the Georgia Department of Transportation.

DeKalb police said a 74-year-old driver died at the scene. She was identified as Mi H Washington by the DeKalb County Medical Examiner’s Office. No other injuries were reported by police.

Officers blocked off the interstate while crews worked to move the vehicles and clear the debris. At around 9:30 a.m., the crash was cleared and all lanes were reopened.

The cause of the wreck remains under investigation, police said.
