A man was shot outside a Walmart Supercenter on Shallowford Road in Gainesville on Tuesday.

A man was shot in the parking lot of a Walmart in Gainesville on Tuesday afternoon in what police described as a domestic-related incident.

The shooting happened outside the Walmart Supercenter at 400 Shallowford Road. The victim is considered stable, according to Gainesville police, and investigators have a person of interest in custody.

Police are asking any witnesses to call Hall County dispatch’s non-emergency line at 770-536-8812.
