A 29-year-old man was arrested Tuesday in connection with a stabbing at a home in Hiram, authorities said.
Dylan Hill, who was taken into custody during a traffic stop near Hart Road and Ga. 61 before noon, has been charged with aggravated assault, according to the Paulding County Sheriff’s Office. He is being held in the county jail without bond.
Ryan Thompson, 36, was found with multiple stab wounds at a home in the 2000 block of Hiram Sudie Road at about 3:40 a.m. Tuesday, sheriff’s office spokesman Sgt. Ashley Henson said in a news release. Thompson was taken to an Atlanta area hospital, where he remains in critical condition, Henson said.
A neighbor called 911 after Thompson showed up at his home, attempting to escape from his attacker, according to the release.
Authorities did not offer details about how Hill and Thompson knew each other.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the sheriff’s office at 770-443-3047 or send a tip via the free Paulding Sheriff mobile app.
