A Dunwoody home caught on fire Wednesday afternoon after an explosion in the basement, according to police.

Two people were inside the home in the 4600 block of Village Court when the fire broke out around 1:15 p.m., police said. They sustained only minor injuries, and one firefighter had a minor knee injury, according to DeKalb fire spokesman Capt. Jaeson Daniels.

The cause of the explosion is under investigation.
