Authorities are searching for two suspects in a shooting on a MARTA train that injured two others late Tuesday at the Peachtree Center station.

The victims’ injuries are not considered life-threatening, according to a MARTA official. The shooting caused service disruptions while police investigated overnight, and a bus bridge was in effect through the end of service.

The Peachtree Center station is open Wednesday and trains were running normally, MARTA spokesperson Stephany Fisher said.

Fisher confirmed two people were shot on a train about 11:30 p.m. Tuesday. The weapon used in the shooting was recovered by MARTA police, but the shooters remain at large, she said.

A lookout was issued for the suspects Wednesday morning. It was not clear if they had been identified.

No further details about the shooting were released.
