Brosnan’s attorneys praise decision to drop charges

Atlanta police Officer Devin Brosnan’s lawyers said the prosecution’s decision to drop the charges against their client and Officer Garrett Rolfe was “long overdue” and that it was “the only decision that could be reached based upon the evidence and Georgia law.”

The officers’ arrests were “never supported by any evidence,” a statement read, adding that the family is grateful for the support they’ve received from the public and the law enforcement community.
