A 15-year-old has been arrested in connection with a robbery that turned deadly in southwest Atlanta last week, according to police.

Atlanta officers got a call about a person shot around 5:15 p.m. Friday in the 1600 block of Kenmore Street in the Cascade Road neighborhood. The area is just off Cascade Avenue.

When police arrived, they found a 34-year-old man with an apparent gunshot wound, officials said in a statement.

The man, whose name was not released, was taken to a hospital, where he later died, according to authorities.

Investigators later arrested the teen suspect on robbery and murder charges. His name also was not released.
