Authorities have arrested an 18-year-old in connection with the fatal shooting of a man at a Decatur-area apartment complex.

Antonio Lee of Decatur was arrested Wednesday on one count each of armed robbery and second-degree murder, DeKalb County jail records show. He’s accused of killing 31-year-old Charles Lewis during a robbery at the Wesley Club Apartments on Jan. 28, DeKalb police spokeswoman Michaela Vincent said.

Officers responded to the apartment complex about 10:30 a.m. and found Lewis with a gunshot wound to the leg, authorities said. He was taken to a hospital, where he later died.

It’s unclear if Lee and Lewis knew each other, but investigators said the fatal shooting appeared to be “the result of risky behavior between the victim and suspect.”

Lee was arrested at his Columbia Drive apartment by U.S. Marshals and members of the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office Fugitive Unit, authorities said. He is being held without bond at the DeKalb County Jail.
