A Marietta man has been arrested for firing a gun at a car during a road-rage incident in Cherokee County, authorities said.

Jayvon-Rowham Waller was charged with three counts of aggravated assault, according to a news release. The incident took place Tuesday morning on Ga. 92 at Londonderry Drive in Woodstock.

Waller allegedly fired at Charles Jenkins of Acworth, which led to a minor graze wound on his back, the release said. Jenkins didn’t need to go to a hospital.

The motive for the shooting is unclear.

A 1-year-old and another passenger were also in the vehicle and were unharmed, the release said.

Waller is in the Cherokee County Adult Detention Center, the release said.
