Two women were arrested Friday on I-85 in Troup County and accused of possessing large amounts of a common date rape drug, authorities said.

Ashley Prince, 47, and Jessica Partridge, 26, were pulled over on the interstate in LaGrange for a window tint violation, according to a news release from the Troup County Sheriff's Office. After a police dog smelled drugs in the car, deputies searched the vehicle and found two gallons of gamma hydroxybutyrate, or GHB, spokesman Stewart Smith said. GHB is more commonly known as a date rape drug.

Both women were charged with possession of GHB with intent to distribute, Smith said. The women’s relationship was not provided.

Prince’s home in Opelika, Alabama, was searched after her arrest, and cops found methamphetamine, LSD, marijuana and more GHB, the release said. She is facing additional charges in Alabama.
