Authorities are looking for a man accused of giving a woman a critical head injury that led to her death a week later, Fulton County police said.

Joya Chester, 45, was found with a head injury Aug. 3 inside a home on White City Road in College Park, Fulton County police Cpl. Maureen Smith said. Chester died Aug. 11 at Grady Memorial Hospital as a result of her injuries.

Police said Chester met with the suspect inside the home.

The suspect was last seen driving a light blue two-door Mercedes Benz coupe, possibly a CLK model, authorities said. He is described as being 6-foot-1 and has his hair styled in medium-lenght twists. The only facial hair he is thought to have is a small goatee.

Police said the man is known to frequent the Roosevelt Highway and White City Road areas.
