Henry County police are looking for a man who bungled a robbery attempt at a Texaco gas station.

Henry County police are searching for Joseph McCoy, the man they believe tried to rob a Texaco in February.

The man was identified as 22-year-old Joseph McCoy after CrimeStoppers of Greater Atlanta on Monday released video of a clerk wrestling a gun from him Feb. 9, Channel 2 Action News reported.

McCoy allegedly tried to rob the clerk at the Eagles’ Landing Parkway store in Stockbridge, Henry County police said.

The clerk took his pistol and McCoy ran from the store, falling into and over shelves on his way out.

Anyone with information on McCoy’s whereabouts is asked to contact Det. Fisher at 770-288-7585.
