A man accused in an undercover sex trafficking sting allegedly led Cobb County police in a 100 mph chase months before his arrest.

Keron Owen Hamilton, 26, of Lawrenceville, remains in the Cobb County jail months after his Oct. 12 arrest on pimping and sex trafficking charges, according to jail records. He waived his right to an arraignment Monday.

Hamilton was arrested on accusations he forced a 16-year-old girl into prostitution, according to warrants.

An undercover officer arranged for services from the girl, who said Hamilton brought her to a hotel on Interstate North Parkway for prostitution, according to the warrant.

The officer spotted Hamilton in a car at a nearby gas station, where he admitted bringing the girl to the hotel.

No other details were released on the case.

Roughly seven months before his latest arrest, Hamilton allegedly led Cobb County police on a 106 mph chase, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution previously reported. Hamilton had a suspended license at the time.
