A Walton County man is in jail on exploitation charges after the GBI accused him of possessing child pornography.

Charles DeLorenzo, 46, of Monroe, was taken into custody Monday following an investigation, according to GBI spokeswoman Natalie Ammons.

The FBI learned that DeLorenzo had possibly uploaded child porn to a cloud-based storage application, Ammons said. The agency shared the information with the GBI, which then opened an investigation.

DeLorenzo was charged with four counts of sexual exploitation of a child. He was booked into the Walton County Jail, where he remains on a $80,000 bond.
