Walmart has suspended a Georgia employee accused of following a customer around the store and taking an upskirt video of her.

Jonathan Louis Perez, 23, of Athens, was arrested after he approached the customer Friday at the Walmart on Epps Bridge Parkway, according to the Oconee County Sheriff’s Office.

Channel 2 Action News reported that Perez is a manager at the store.

He appeared to be scanning items when the customer noticed Perez was actually placing his phone under her dress, the sheriff’s office said.

“She grabbed the phone away from him and turned it over to a deputy,” a sheriff official said on Facebook.

Investigators obtained a search warrant for the phone and found video of the incident in question.

Perez is being held in the county jail pending a first appearance hearing.

He will remain suspended until the investigation is complete, according to the company.

“We value the security of everyone who shops with us and will not tolerate the actions described in these allegations,” Charles Crowson, a Walmart spokesman, said.
