Investigators hope video of a deadly hit-and-run will lead to the driver.

Berell Brown, 54, was making his way home from a family gathering when he was hit by a car, College Park police told Channel 2 Action News. He later died from his injuries.

The television station obtained video that shows the driver hit Brown, slow down and continue driving. The crash occurred just before 3:20 a.m. Sunday on West Point Avenue in College Park.

Police suspect the driver knows someone was hit.

"They didn't take the time out to stop, to call, to help, to see if he's OK," Brown’s niece Tiera Bohannon told Channel 2.

Berell Brown died from his injuries after being hit by a car walking along West Point Avenue in College Park.
