Two teenagers were arrested after a trespassing incident Tuesday on the Douglass High School campus, a school system spokeswoman said.

Darius McNeal and Luther Thornton, both 18, were charged with disrupting a public school and unauthorized entry into a school, said Pat St. Claire, spokeswoman for Atlanta Public Schools.

“There was no gun found on either person,” St. Claire said. “A third subject was not captured.”

Officials could not determine why they were on the campus.

“We were not able to ascertain a motive,” St. Claire said. Further details about the suspects’ status is not known.

The incident prompted a lockdown at the school. No injuries were reported.
