A dissatisfied drive-through customer went inside an Ohio McDonald's restaurant, knocked over a row of order screens and attacked a cashier.

Police were called around 8:15 p.m. Saturday to the restaurant on S. Edwin C. Moses Boulevard in Dayton. When officers arrived, they found shattered glass on the floor in front of the registers and at least one monitor broken, according to a Dayton police report.

A manager told police the woman came into the restaurant and started yelling profanity at a cashier. Staff offered to make the woman a new sandwich or refund her order, but the woman refused and shoved the three monitors to the floor, threw items off the counter, including a glass cookie display and then came behind the counter and started attacking the cashier, the report stated.

The cashier, a 26-year-old woman, said she fought back to defend herself before other employees were able to break up the struggle. The woman then fled in a green, older model four-door Buick, according to the report.

The suspect was not identified, and police were reviewing surveillance video in the incident that remains under investigation.
