A cyber tip led to the arrest of a Hall County man, who allegedly possessed a lewd image of a child under the age of 14, authorities said.

Nathren Armour, 60, faces a sexual exploitation of children charge after being arrested Wednesday, the Hall County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release. He allegedly possessed the obscene photo on his computer at his house in the 5200 block of Mount Vernon Road from Dec. 12 until Jan. 17.

The tip leading to his arrest was submitted to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, which was then reported to the Georgia Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force, the release said. The sheriff's office investigation into this incident is ongoing.
