Police in Florida asked for the public’s help Wednesday identifying a person who hid his or her identity under a drawn-on beard during a robbery in Holiday.
The person was caught on surveillance cameras robbing the Holiday Gas Station on U.S. Highway 19. Witnesses described the robber as a man, although Pasco County sheriff’s deputies acknowledged on Thursday that the person could be a woman.
The accused thief was described as a heavyset person in his or her 30s or 40s. The robber had long dark hair and wore clear gloves, a red bandanna and a green jumpsuit in the style of a U.S. Army pilot, police said.

The robber left the area in a tan or brown Toyota extended-cab truck.
Authorities are offering a reward of up to $3,000 for information that leads to the person’s arrest. Anyone with information can call Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay at 1-800-873-TIPS (8477).
