A man charged in connection with the deadly shootings of his wife and their two children is also wanted in Georgia, records show.
Jordan Michael Hazel, 27, is sought in Houston County after he violated probation from a 2008 sentence, according to Superior Court records obtained by The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
Hazel is in custody in Clarksville, Tenn., after his wife, 23, and their children, a 3-year-old boy and a 9-month-old girl, were found dead Sept. 14, a Tennessee newspaper reported.
In December 2008, Hazel was sentenced to a year in jail and the following nine years on probation as part of a first-offender procedure.
He originally was indicted on charges of burglary, entering auto, first-degree forgery, two counts of criminal trespass, theft by taking and theft by receiving stolen property.
Hazel was accused of violating his probation in 2012, a court official said. The Tennessee newspaper reported he tested positive for marijuana and methamphetamine.
Hazel will not fight extradition to Georgia, according to the Tennessee report.
Hazel acknowledged killing his wife, Keara Wynn Hazel, and their children, the Tennessee newspaper reported, citing arrest warrants. A motive for the killings is not known.
