Two teens arrested this month after a loaded gun was brought to a DeKalb County high school have now been linked to dozens of thefts, police said.

Jontavious Clark, 17, of Decatur, and an unidentified 16-year-old were charged with theft by taking-motor vehicle and burglary in the second degree, Conyers police Sgt. Kim Lucas said.

According to school officials, a resource officer noticed four trespassers the morning of April 11 at Towers High School.

One was in the school with the gun, prompting a lockdown at Towers High. The other teens were in the parking lot of the school, the district told Channel 2.

Clark was driving a car that Lucas said was stolen off of Calloway Loop. He and the 16-year-old also had items stolen from more than 12 vehicles in the Calloway Crossing and Travers Creek neighborhoods in Conyers earlier that day, she said.

Police were notified and all four were arrested on trespassing charges.

The other teens have not been identified. It is unclear which teen brought the gun to the school.

In addition to the other charges, Clark faces felony and misdemeanor charges of theft by receiving stolen property, creating a disturbance at school and being an unauthorized person in school, according to jail records.

No other details were released.
