A Pickens County teenager was indicted for allegedly offering $12,000 to have two classmates and their families killed.

Morgan Miles Morris, 17, was indicted Sept. 28 on three charges of criminal solicitation, Channel 2 Action News reported.

Charged as an adult, Morris was taken into custody in August, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution previously reported.

During a meeting with an undercover officer, Morris provided information on how to carry out the killings, the sheriff’s office said in connection with Morris’ arrest.

Detectives searched the teen’s home and found additional evidence.

Targets of the alleged plot were made aware of the situation, officials said. There was no indication that others were threatened.
