DeKalb County police have arrested the person they say shot a Lyft driver in the back outside a convenience store earlier this month, according to Channel 2 Action News.
No details were released about the suspected shooter because that person may be connected to another case, Channel 2 reported.
The shooting happened shortly after midnight Nov. 18.
The driver arrived to pick up her passenger, according to DeKalb police spokeswoman Michaela Vincent. At some point, the passenger tried to steal the car, police told Channel 2.
The driver stopped at a Citgo at the corner of Rockbridge and Hairston roads and the passenger shot her, police said.

The 25-year-old woman, who has not been identified by police, tried to drive away, but she did not make it very far. Police arriving at the scene found her silver sedan on an embankment across Hairston Road, Channel 2 reported.
An officer at the scene told the news station the woman was shot twice in the back.
She was taken to a hospital in serious condition. The driver was reportedly walking Tuesday and is expected to be released from the hospital later this week, according to Channel 2.
