Standoff with gunwoman in Jonesboro ends

June 23, 2015An hours-long standoff between Clayton County authorities and an armed woman near Jonesboro ended around 7 p.m. Tuesday.
A gunwoman barricaded herself in the area of Fielder Road between Rand Road and Highway 138 near Jonesboro, the Clayton County Sheriff’s Office said in a release Tuesday.
Authorities asked the public to avoid the area.
