Son of convicted ex-DeKalb sheriff found shot to death in Clayton County

The investigation continued Friday into the shooting death of a man whose father was a former DeKalb County sheriff convicted of murder.
Sidney Dorsey Jr. was found dead on Northridge Trail in Ellenwood on Jan. 29, according to Sgt. Ashanti Marbury with Clayton County police. Dorsey Jr. had been shot multiple times, Marbury said. He was 51.
Dorsey's father is currently serving a life sentence for killing Sheriff-elect Derwin Brown in December 2000.
