A Fayetteville man is accused of killing his father during a domestic dispute.

Christopher Bert Joseph, 22, was booked into the Fayette County jail after investigators determined he was the primary aggressor in the dispute in which his father was killed, Fayette County Sheriff Barry Babb said.

Deputies were sent to the home on Greenfield Circle, where Joseph and his father both lived, just before 11 p.m. March 31, Babb said. They found 60-year-old Georges Joseph unconscious in the front yard.

He was taken to Piedmont Fayette Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Christopher Joseph had visible injuries but refused treatment.

Joseph is charged with malice murder, felony murder and aggravated assault, jail records show.
