Authorities have released a sketch of an armed man accused of sexually assaulting a 16-year-old girl who was walking home in northwest Atlanta.

The alleged assault occurred July 10 in the 3000 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, Atlanta police said. Officers responded to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta at Hughes Spalding, Atlanta about the alleged assault.

The girl told police the man pushed her into the woodline and raped her. At the time of the assault, the girl described the man as having gold teeth, Channel 2 Action News reported.

Police said the man is believed to be 5-foot-10 with a slender build and short black hair. He also has a tattoo of lips on his neck.

Anyone with information on the man’s whereabouts is asked to call police or contact Crime Stoppers.
