The Dallas Police Department found itself under siege overnight by a gunman. Explosive devices were also found at police headquarters.

Police confirmed Saturday afternoon that the suspect is dead. Police are still working to confirm the suspect's identity.

Other potential crime scenes related to the incident are being investigated.

While it was initially reported that multiple gunmen were involved, Dallas Police Chief David Brown stated that it is now believed the one suspect shot from multiple locations.
