The FBI is searching for at least two people who robbed 18 businesses in metro Atlanta, including six Waffle Houses and three banks, officials said Friday.

Guns were used in all of the robberies except the banks, where a demand note was used instead, FBI Atlanta spokesman Kevin Rowson said in a news release.

Rowson said the suspects struck businesses in DeKalb, Gwinnett, Newton and Rockdale counties between Feb. 14 and as recently as Thursday, when they robbed a SunTrust Bank on Pleasant Hill Road in Duluth. On Tuesday, they robbed a Dollar General on Glenwood Road in Decatur.
