Two members of the Ghost Face Gangsters are headed to prison after they were convicted of violating Georgia's criminal street gang statute, according to authorities.

Tyler Campbell and Zachari Nokes were convicted in Paulding Judicial Superior Court, District Attorney Dick Donovan said Monday in a statement.

“The Ghost Face Gangsters are (a) white criminal street gang that started in the jails and prison system, but their criminal actions have spread outside of the detention center walls and across the State of Georgia,” Donovan said.

Records show Campbell was arrested at least 13 times in Paulding County. He was also convicted on charges of terroristic threats and acts related to an incident in 2016, Georgia Department of Corrections records show.

The most recent charges stem from an Oct. 12 incident at the Paulding Detention Center, where Campbell “struck an African-American corrections officer while being booked into the jail for other crimes,” Donovan said. He was on probation at the time, jail records show.

In addition to violation of the Street Gang Terrorism and Prevention Act, Campbell was convicted of felony obstruction, simple battery and riot in a penal institution. He was sentenced to 10 years with three to be served in prison, Donovan said.

Nokes has 22 prior arrests in Paulding County, several of which are related to burglary, drug possession or probation violation, jail records show. He was previously sentenced to 10 years on a burglary charge in connection with a 2010 incident, according to GDC records. He was on probation at the time of his most recent arrest, jail records show.

Nokes was convicted of multiple counts of violating the criminal street gang statute and engaging in the trafficking of methamphetamine. He was sentenced to 40 years with 15 to be served in prison.
