Authorities are investigating after someone broke into a new Henry County church and spray-painted a pentagram and other satanic symbols on the walls, Channel 2 Action News reported.

Daunta Long, the pastor of Seed Planters Church in McDonough, just bought the building two months ago, the news station reported. The church, which is east of Ga. 81, has not had its first service.

Vandals entered the back of the church, kicking a door off its hinges, according to Channel 2. Police also found evidence that someone smoked marijuana inside the building.

Long told Channel 2 he forgives those responsible for the vandalism.

“We love everybody,” he said. “You need help. We are here to offer help to you. Come and be a part of us.”

Churches in the area plan to help remove the graffiti at 11 a.m. Saturday in preparation for the Seed Planters’ first service on Easter.
