A Sandy Springs man who returned to his luxury apartment and found a gunman in his residence was forced into his bathtub at gunpoint.

The victim, who did not want to be identified, told Chanel 2 Action News that when he returned to his apartment off Glenridge Drive after running errands last week, he saw that the locks on his door had been “beaten up.”

At that point, he said a man opened the door and told him to come in — at gunpoint.

The victim, with his hands up, walked inside and was later instructed to get into his bathtub.

“I thought he was gonna shoot me,” the man told Channel 2. “That’s the truth.”

He said he saw another man assisting with the robbery. Once the suspects left, the victim flagged down a neighbor to call 911.

Management said it found a safe stolen from the man’s apartment in an empty unit next door, but guns, jewelry and cash were missing.

No arrests have been made. Sandy Springs police are investigation the incident.
