A 38-year-old Fulton County man who molested teenage babysitters that he hired to watch his children has been sentenced to 95 years in jail.

Shakir Cole was convicted Wednesday of molesting a 13-year-old, a 16-year-old and a girl under the age of 12, the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office said in a news release.

According to prosecutors, Cole called a 13-year-old acquaintance in September 2015 and asked if she would be willing to babysit he and his girlfriend’s two children. While she was babysitting, Cole sat next to the teen and sexually assaulted her in his Sandy Springs living room.

The teen told police the following day, prompting an investigation that led to two other victims coming forward, prosecutors said.

Another victim told authorities she was molested by Cole while babysitting his children as a 16-year-old, the DA’s office said. Prosecutors said Cole followed the girl to another room when she tried to get away from him and molested her again.

A third witness, whose mother had been friends with Cole for more than a decade, told police that Cole molested her on several occasions.

All three victims told authorities that Cole had an infatuation with their feet.

Judge Craig Schwall sentenced Cole to 100 years, with 95 to serve in custody and the remaining five on probation.
