Police are asking the public for help tracking down a vandalism suspect who spray-painted satanic symbols on the side of a Roswell church.

The graffiti was discovered last week at the Christian Center Church on Woodstock Road, Channel 2 Action News reported.

The painted symbols included a pentagram with the words “get out” as well as lewd graffiti, police said.

“There appeared to be a satanic symbol and several other lewd drawings on the wall and grass,” Roswell police spokesman Officer Sean Thompson said. “That’s obviously supposed to be a sacred place.”

The tags were discovered by a groundskeeper who stopped to check on the property Jan. 20, authorities said. Church leaders removed some of the paint this week, but the side of the brick structure was vandalized again Wednesday, according to Channel 2.

The incident was not captured on the church’s surveillance cameras, and anyone with information about the vandalism is asked to contact Roswell police.
