Report: Suspect in 7-year-old's murder sat next to her at football game

A 38-year-old man has been arrested on sexual assault and murder charges related to the death of a 7-year-old who disappeared during her brother’s little-league football game.

A local report cited a source who said Timothy Madden was sitting near the family of Gabriella Doolan the night of her disappearance. The source said Madden was from the area, has five children and attended high school with the victim's father.
Gabriella’s body was found less than a half hour after her disappearance, in a nearby creek.
Although investigators did not reveal the cause of death, Madden was charged with kidnapping, rape, sodomy and murder and jailed on a $1 million bond, acccording to the report.
As he was being arrested, Madden told news photographers he was innocent.
