An Atlanta man faces child molestation charges after being accused of luring and meeting a 14-year-old boy in Peachtree City, authorities said.

Robert Lewis Lezon, 46, was arrested last Saturday after he tried to meet the teenager, Peachtree City police spokesman Chris Hyatt told AJC.com.

The child’s mother contacted police after she became suspicious of her son’s whereabouts, Hyatt said. Police assisted in finding him, but that led them to Lezon as well.

The teen and Lezon, who met on a dating app, mutually agreed to meet at an undisclosed location, Hyatt said. Actions that allegedly took place at that location led to the charges.

Lezon faces counts of child molestation and enticing a child for indecent purposes, Fayette County Jail records show. As of Thursday afternoon, he remained in custody without bond.
