The man shot to death outside a south Fulton County convenience store was identified Thursday night as a 39-year-old from College Park.
Evan Campbell was killed and another person wounded in the shootings, which happened shortly before 10:30 p.m. in the parking lot of the Chevron Food Mart in the 5800 block of Buffington Road, Union City police Detective Gloria Hodgson said.
"Upon arriving, officers discovered a deceased male in the parking lot and a female who appeared to have been shot several times," Hodgson said in an email.
The wounded woman was taken to a local hospital for treatment. Her condition was not available late Thursday.
The Fulton County Medical Examiner's Office identified Campbell as the man killed in the shooting. Police have not released the name of the woman or a motive for the shooting.
