A North Carolina woman is free on bond after authorities say she pulled a gun on two utility workers trying to shut off power to her house.

The Salisbury Post reports the Rowan County Sheriff's Office charged Jamie Michelle Euart Honeycutt, 46, with misdemeanor assault by pointing a gun.

The sheriff's office reports a Duke Energy worker called authorities because Honeycutt came at him and his co-worker with a .40-caliber gun. The report said both men jumped into their company vehicle, and when a deputy arrived at the home, Honeycutt was still holding the gun.

Honeycutt is free on a $500 secured bond. It's not known if she has an attorney.
