Two women were assaulted in their Clarkston home.

Police are still seeking the person who assaulted two women in their DeKalb County home after a previous person of interest was cleared.

Amos Green, who previously was declared “armed and dangerous” by Clarkston police, was ruled out as a suspect after being interviewed, Channel 2 Action News reported.

So the hunt goes on after the women suffered “significant blunt force trauma injuries” Friday, Sgt. Jasond Elliott said. The incident took place about 5:25 p.m. in the 3900 block of Market Street.

The women said someone asked if they needed any work done at their house, the news station reported. They said no, and he left.

When one of the women returned from work, the man was inside, and he beat her. When the other woman came home, the man attacked her.

The women broke away at different times, police said.

“It’s one of the more personal, horrendous crimes I’ve dealt with,” Elliott said.
