Police seek driver responsible for Butts County motorcycle crash

The car involved in the wreck has been recovered but the driver remains at large, according to the GBI.

Police are searching for a man who ran into two people who were riding a motorcycle and then left the scene in Butts County early Wednesday.

The wreck occurred just after 2:30 a.m. on Ga. 87 near Floyd Street in Flovilla, injuring both riders on the bike, the Georgia State Patrol said.

Police said the man who hit them was driving a silver Toyota Corolla. It was recovered Wednesday morning, police said.
