Police search for third suspect in ‘takeover-style’ bank robbery using AR-15

The FBI released a photo Friday of a third man wanted in connection with a June armed bank robbery in Woodbury where one of the men was carrying an AR-15.

Two men were taken into custody hours after the “takeover-style” robbery, FBI Atlanta said in a news release.

They have been identified as Derrick Scott, 26, of Augusta, and Antavious Bray, 29, of Greenville, the release said.

On June 28, three suspects — two armed with handguns and a third with an AR-15 rifle — entered the United Bank on Jones Mill Road, the statement said. They allegedly forced employees to the ground at gunpoint and stole an undisclosed amount of cash.

A fourth suspect may have been driving the getaway car, which was described as a 2007 black Chevrolet Impala SS, the release said.

United Bank is offering a reward up to $10,000 for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the suspects, the release said. Anyone with information is asked to call 404-577-8477.
