Police are searching for a man believed to have robbed at least two banks in south Fulton County.

Anthony Lee Carter, 22, is wanted on armed robbery and terrorist threats charges, East Point police said Monday in a Facebook post.

He’s accused of robbing the Regions Bank on 2833 Main Street in East Point as well as a PNC Bank in Union City on Wednesday, East Point police said in a news release.

He allegedly passed a handwritten note to a bank teller at the Regions Bank that said his daughter had been kidnapped, and he needed $40,000, the release said. Police said the teller gave him an undisclosed amount of money.

Anyone with information is asked to contact East Point police at 404-559-6225 or CrimeStoppers at 404-577-8477.
