Police are searching for the people who fired more than 30 bullets northeast Atlanta on Tuesday morning.

The incident took place on Manchester Street just before 2:45 a.m., and a homeowner’s camera captured the moment the guns were fired, Channel 2 Action News reported. A parked Toyota van was hit several times, but no one was inside, and no was injured.

“I was woken up by the sound of what I thought were fireworks in rapid succession,” the homeowner, who asked Channel 2 to remain anonymous, said. “I’m just not sure what the situation was and why they decided to shoot.”

The incident only lasted a few seconds before the shooters drove away in a black SUV, a black sedan and a gray Dodge Challenger, according to the video. It’s unclear how many people fired gunshots, but the video appears to show at least three shooters.

According to an Atlanta police incident report obtained by AJC.com, officers found 38 shell casings. The casings belonged to .40 caliber and 9mm firearms.

In the video, a silver SUV with its lights off pulled behind those three vehicles, which had stopped in the middle of the road near Niles Place, before the gunfire erupted, the news station reported. It’s unclear what was being targeted in the shooting.

Police are searching for the people in all four vehicles, but no descriptions were available.
