After her 15-year-old son found his parents' bag of marijuana under their bathroom sink and sold it so they wouldn't use it, Zayme Flores, 34, told him to place his hands on the kitchen stove, WESH reports .

Police said the boy had "blistering on his hands."

"I really can't understand how a mother can do this with a child," Renato Scofield, a neighbor, told WESH.

According to WESH, Flores “showed little emotion” when she was ordered in court to have zero contact with her son.

Her son and his younger sister were removed from the house and put in the care of relatives.

Flores is facing charges of felony child abuse and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
