Police: Man eats toilet paper to try to escape DUI charge

Police said a man tried to beat a breathalyzer test by consuming toilet paper, KGAN reports.

Ross McDonald, 39, was pulled over Sunday in Iowa when police saw him driving the wrong way on the street. Officers said he was delirious and was wearing a costume “that featured male genitalia.”

After being pulled over, McDonald tried to eat toilet paper “believing it would throw off a breathalyzer test,” KGAN reports.

McDonald failed the breathalyzer test and was charged with a DUI, according to KGAN.
