Police say a man broke into a New Orleans preschool Sunday, slept there overnight and left in the morning with two bags of stolen items.

The New Orleans Police Department posted two surveillance videos, one of which shows the man entering Clara's Little Lambs preschool at approximately 11:02 p.m. Sunday, and the second video shows the man exiting the school at approximately 6:43 a.m. with two bags of stolen property.

Police say the man entered the school through an unlocked window. Preschool owner Sonjia Joseph told WDSU the man entered the teachers' break room and made himself a sandwich. Joseph said the man also took a mat, a blanket and some of the kids' stuffed animals.

The man is believed to be homeless.
