Police are investigating a double shooting at a College Park gas station Tuesday evening.

Around 6:45 p.m., police responded to a shooting at the Valero gas station on Main Street, Channel 2 Action News reported. One person was shot in the face, and the other was shot in the hip.

Police told Channel 2 a verbal fight between two men at the gas station escalated, and then one person fired shots. Police have several people detained and are questioning them on the shooting, but they haven’t identified a suspect.

There are cameras at the gas station, but the news station reported they were pointed toward the gas pumps, so they did not capture video of the incident.

The two victims were taken to an area hospital with serious injuries, Channel 2 reported.

An investigation is ongoing.
