A Middle Georgia pastor who touched a 9-year-old girl’s thigh was found guilty of sexual battery, but not guilty of child molestation, authorities said.

Wiley Green Leverett, the pastor of Solid Rock Community Church in Houston County, was driving the church bus when the incident happened in 2012, the Macon Telegraph reported.

Leverett, 58, told police he may have touched the girl's thigh while tickling her.

Originally, he was indicted on child molestation and other charges after he was accused of inappropriately touching four other girls from 8 to 16. However, the judge dismissed those charges before trial.

Leverett could be sentenced to one to five years in prison. It is not clear if he is still affiliated with the church.
